It has been raining all day here in FL. No, not hurricane season yet but just their ‘usual’ thunderstorm. Not the typical thunderstorm I experience in pinas though. Here, the lightning can reach the ground..oooh yeah, you heard read that right.
It seems that there are alot of casualties of lightning here (i.e living and non living things). Most appliances here get destroyed by the lightning.
Here are some safety tips I listed for this underrated killer:
STAY indoors!
Do not use corded phones. hello?
Avoid contact with electrical equipments and cords. Unplug ‘em before the thunderstorm.
Avoid contact with plumbing
Stay away from windows and doors
