Tongue Twister
What do you know, everyday you I learn something new. I often envy the husband when our chubby feline friend Toby licks his chest. I thought that it is probably the same as when my pup Chloe licks my hands. I have been trying to make him lick my hand in several occasions but he keeps on getting away from my clutches. LOL. But one fateful night, I placed him on my tummy and he started licking away. Oh boy, was I surprised! It felt like sandpaper. I was not aware that the surface of their tongues are different than the dogs. I didn’t know that because I have never owned a cat. A cat’s tongue is designed to lick meat off the bones. It makes me wonder how a tiger’s tongue is. Like a metal brush perhaps?
Sick
Last night, I was really sick. I was feeling cold even though it was really hot. I asked the husband to check my temperature and it was 100 degrees F. I was too tired to eat dinner. I just laid down on the bed till I succumb to sleep. I guess my body was too tired from the workout (swimming and walking), going out midday in the scorching sun and poor quality of sleep the night before. Today, it seems that my body has recuperated. I feel so much better. 
Battle Against the Bulge
In an effort to lose weight before Christmas, I’m doing my best to exercise and eat healthy. I hope this will pay off because it is a lot of hard work. I wake up 6AM, walk for 30 minutes to the nearby spring. Upon arrival, I will do some laps for about an hour and then walk back for another 30 minutes home.
In between days, I want to incorporate belly dancing for my workout. It is time to get serious about getting in shape since I’m not getting any younger so it is easier to pack on the pounds. This is my battle against the buldge, sadly it is winning. 
Rock My World
I checked all online news and I did not find any significant earthquake that happened in PH within 24hrs. So I guess that prediction is all a hoax then. *thank God” we can all breath a sigh of relief and continue with our lives. oh well that is why you call it “hula” in the first place

Por Favor
In an effort to be multilingual (bilingual for the hubby), we are studying espanol. He said that our ultimate goal is to converse with mexicans who ran the nearby resto. I corrected him and said that our ultimate goal should be going to Spain and converse with the nationals. A little over the top, but heck can’t I dream.
Living It Up
Recently, we have been living classssy! Drinking wine at dinner, reading our classics and falling asleep with classical music in the background. What’s next? A weekend in Paris perhaps? I wish..LOL
