Always Happy
This is my first attempt for a minimalist layout. It is hard because I love “complicated”. LOL. One day, we I decided to make a makeshift studio in our bedroom and took some photos of us. Btw, the journal is actually an excerpt of a poem I made for him.

I’m Walking On Sunshine
Yes, that’s right. It feels like I’m walking on sunshine right now even though it is drizzling outside because of tropical storm Fay. Wee! There are a lot of reasons why I’m so happy today.
1. Today is our 3rd month being husband and wife
2. I finally got the book I ordered online. I have been looking for that book for more than a decade!
3. It is saturday so that means all day with my favorite person in the entire world.
4. My parents has finally got their internet installed so we talked for hours over IM with a camera.
5. This is my 100th post.
Now, the only thing that will really make this day perfect is for our tobster to get well.
cat trouble
My little bot-bot is under the weather today. He did not touch his food at all which is very unusual for him. Eating is his favorite thing to do. He just laid in all day and hasn’t got up. I hope it is not something bad. Poor baby. I slept right beside him today and pet him from time to time. I can’t wait till he get back on his feet again and run around just as he always do.
Another day in paradise
I think I accomplished a lot of things this week. Here are just some things I did:
1. Exercised - That’s 30 mins cardio and 30 situps. Am proud of myself.
2. Washed all our clothes
3. Cleaned up a bit - I still have the kitchen and office to cleanup for tomorrow
4. Continue reading my classics for the week - I’m almost done and just about the right timing for the arrival of my new book next week. I can’t wait!
5. Practiced creativity by making digital scrapbook layouts
6. Prepared home cook meals for the hubby. No junk foods for this week. Hurray!
I just have a few more errands this weekend. We will be staying in the whole weekend as tropical storm Fay goes our way. I hope it is not bad. This is my first almost-hurricane.
Another LO: A Childhood Memory
I have stopped making LOs for a couple of days. I just want to make my creative mind rest for a bit. Today is different though, well actually this afternoon - I got inspired when I saw this picture and started scrapping again.

Blue Bayou
I was a little bit lonely and gloomy today. I’d rather not discuss why I’m sad though. Anyway, I laid in bed for 2-3 hours more and woke up feeling more depressed. Then, I tried to analyze my situation. I’ve realized that I feel happy when I’m productive. I felt this way before a couple of months back and I sure don’t want to have the same heavy feelings. I’ve thought about an episode I watched in the documentary 30 days when he had to spend a month in a prison. Being in jail is a struggle with loneliness, lack of motivation and boredom. I’m not in prison so I might as well make a good use of my time. I got up, took a shower, prettify and do chores. The sadness has somehow slipped away and seeing the husband coming home from school made it completely disappear. Tomorrow, I’m back to my usual routine and that means exercise in the morning.
Bumming Around
Last night, I have just realized that I have been a bum for 5 months now. This is the longest ever! Honestly, I have enjoyed my time being jobless because I have lots of time for myself and the husband as we adjust to married life. This has been a good break since I have always been working continuously in an ever changing schedule. There are times then that I feel depressed or over fatigue. But after the long rest, I want need to work soon. I prefer doing home based jobs though. Does anyone of you can suggest a decent paying online job?
