Happy Halloween!
It has been a long time since I made a layout. However, I still have a couple of them that I previously made that I haven’t uploaded yet. I hurriedly made one today for the Halloween. It is not quite polished and I made it in just an hour or less. Anyway, happy weekend and happy halloween to y’all!

Safe Keeping
It is no secret that a lot of banks in the United States are going bankrupt. This is the reason I’m quite reluctant in opening a bank account. We are talking about hard earned cash here so I want to be very careful. At the rate of what is happening to the economy, I’m considering offshore banking. I might as well look up some information about seychelles company formation since the Husband’s business is no longer stable.
Tomato..Bow!
It was only this year that I appreciate tomato juice. I often see it the juice aisle but never imagined myself drinking it. The husband get me into drinking tomato juice as well as vegetable juice. Don’t get me wrong, I eat tomatoes with fried fish, or as pasta sauce or as a ketchup.
As I go over the nutritional value list, I found interesting health facts that tomatoes have. Of course, we all know that tomato has lycopene which is a great anti-oxidant. Not only that it helps improve good eyesight but it is also known to prevent certain cancers like prostate, breast, intestinal as well as pancreatic. For best results, it is recommended to take it with olive oil or nuts because lycopene is fat-soluble. Tomato also has vitamin C, A, potassium and iron. It also contains riboflavin (aka B12) which is an energy booster.
Christmas Gift
I know that I can’t shop for now for gifts due to my budget constraints aka lack of work but I just can’t help to browse for goodies online. I just found a perfect gift for my dad which is a cd of Martin at the Sands. I know he will like this one. I’m quite tempted to buy this for him because it is being sold online on a discounted price. I just gotta hold on to my purse for now but it doesn’t hurt to add this on my bookmarks. Hehe
Food Craving
I’m really craving for lechon (roasted pig). That is one of the food that I want to eat when we go visit my parents. The Husband has yet to experience eating roasted pig so that will be a first for him. I hope by that time that we can go back to my home town, Sabroso’s lechon is still available. I have read good reviews about their lechon and I can’t wait to try it. Yum!
Trick or Trips
One of my favorite things to do is to search for travel destinations that me and the Husband can go to in the future. We both love traveling and we will soon do so once we have the budget. One of the places that we both want to go to is Europe. I have already planned in my mind how we can save by getting airfare tickets on off-peak season. Rent appartments in Kiev is another option that I thought about since hotels charge so much more. We will be able to choose a place where we want to stay without burning our wallets. For now, this is all but a dream but I hope someday will come true. It would be wonderful to discover new places and share the experience with the Husband.
Stress Reliever
The Husband has been stressed for quite some time now because of work and school. I told him that I have gone through all of that as well when I used to have a demanding job. I don’t even have time for myself then. I often get sick and gets confined in a hospital each year because of fatigue. Although, I’m glad it is not as worse as fibromyalgia. Anyway, to be able to release some tension, we decided to go driving in the country yesterday. It was just perfect timing because we drove mid afternoon so we (especially me) have enjoyed the sites. We felt relax after the drive. Next time, we will have to come up with another idea for a stress reliever or perhaps a different route to go to.
