Book Worm
I used to read a lot of books when I was young. Not only did I sweep through my filipino and english books for school work but for pleasure as well. I love short stories and my classmates may have probably not noticed why I already know the succeeding stories in our books.
When I started working though, I switched into reading romance novels. I would buy any regardless its english or tagalog as long as the plot seems to be exciting. I would even trade those cheap pocket books with our tenants. However, when I ventured into the business of answering calls aka call center, I have limited myself in the thick romance books with dukes and castles on them. Although I love to read them (hopeless-romantic me talking), it is my way of relaxing myself to sleep. I have shied away from adventure books as well as inspirational ones since both can get my mind worked up.
Now that I seem to have more time in my hands than I used to, I have discovered the joy in reading other type of books other than romance. Although, I might be too late in following book fads, what matters most to me is that I was able to read them anyway. I still have a couple of classics waiting on the shelf and so many more new books waiting to be discovered.
