Almost Done
I’m so proud of the husband. He is almost done with school. By next month, he can start working on a new profession. I know that it was hard for him and I appreciate the effort and hardwork to give us a better life. Things will get better soon and I know it will. More than likely his new job will get us health insurance since it is in the medical field. Hopefully this year I can get a job too so we can start saving for our future home. Then once we have kids, we can decide on which of those term life insurance quotes to get.
Travel in Comfort and Style
The last time I travelled, my shoulders hurt so bad. I had a bag full of documents and a very heavy laptop. I don’t want to experience that whole thing again. Not to mention, my jacket was not enough to keep me warm. When I landed at the Detroit airport, I looked like a sick puppy. Although that was just a stop over, there is no excuse for not being prepared. It was the end of winter when I got there. I think that was the coldest weather I have ever experienced since I spent most of my life in a tropical country. The next time I travel, I will bring a good coat and not too heavy carry-on. Since my laptop always go with me, I think I want to have this bag from Zero Halliburton. The backpack can balance the weight on my shoulders. What do you think?
Surprise
My birthday is coming up. The husband seems to be preparing a surprise for me. Well, he did not say what it is but he had to make a phone call for it. I kept asking him for clues but he won’t budge. Hehe. I know that I shouldn’t because that will ruin the surprise. I do love surprises (as long as their good) but I’m not quite sure I will have the reaction that he is hoping for. I usually have the tendency to hide my emotions inside so I might not jump for joy. I remember when I got accepted on my first job. When Human Resources Dept. called me up and let me know about it. I just calmly answered. I thanked them and asked when can I start. A friend of mine who was with me during that call asked why I don’t seem happy. I was actually happy but just not expressive. That is just the way I am. I told the husband not to buy me anything for my birthday because of practical reasons. He has given me so much for the past years even when there is no occasion. I remember getting a flash memory card from him. I still have it with me. I’m still curious with his surprise but I won’t ponder it for too long so as not to ruin it.

- Do you use a Digital or Film camera? digital, thank God! =)
- Do you print the photos yourself or get them printed for you? actually I haven’t printed in either way in a looong time. I have them all saved in my external HD
- Do you upload your photos to sites such as fickr or photobucket? yes! yes!
- Do you photo anything and everything or does your camera only come out on special occasions such as birthdays etc.? I bring it with me whenever and wherever. I sometimes forget my purse but not my camera. LOL
- When was the last time you upgraded to a new camera? last year’s thanksgiving and yes thanks to black friday sale
- If you could have any camera on the market which one would you choose and why? I would love to own a Nikon DSLR. The main reason is to take good quality pictures but they are pricey so maybe I’ll wait for another black friday sale. HAHA.
Are You a Lostie?

Me and the husband are big fans of ABC’s Lost. To be honest though, the first two seasons were not that exciting for me. I was bored on some episodes but I guess that’s what happen when you watch that show alone. Anyway, this season is the best so far. There were so many revelations. I can’t wait for the next episodes. We are so addicted to it that we would watch again the same episode the next day. It is a highly detailed show so we enjoy looking at the little clues on the set. We have our own set of theories about the story and its characters. We will see who will have the right guesses when this show ends. The husband will probably get most of them right. He is more analytical than I am. That’s what I get from too much browsing on online stores and staring at tv deals all day.
