Sew Not Me
As previously mentioned, I got myself a new “toy” to play with. It’s a sewing machine. I can’t believe I’m sewing right now. How domesticated can you get, huh? My parents will be so surprised if they find out I’m sewing now. They might even ask me to undergo DNA testing to check if its really me. Hehe. To be honest, I don’t really know how to sew but with the help of the manual, youtube videos and will power, I’m learning. My first project was to sew curtains for our bedroom. The material is flimsy so it was a little bit difficult for me to sew the fabric but its all good. I showed it to the husband and he said it looks ok. Thanks hun.
I have so many sewing projects in mind and I hope I can make clothes from scratch. For now, I’m thinking of upcycling my old clothes that no longer fit right. I got a bunch of them. I’m also thinking of getting more stuff from Goodwill. That’s what you call recycling and creativity combined. I’m loving this machine so far. I will be posting some of my sewing projects in the future.
