Holiday Here We Come
Finally, decided on where we will spend Thanksgiving. It will be a long drive on my part and its going to be my first time to drive that far. I might chicken out though once we reach the busier part of the State. I know it has been months but I don’t drive every day so its always like the first time.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to lots and lots of food. I might need some Solo Slim when we get back. I’m excited with this little trip. I think I should start packing now because I told the Husband that I won’t drive during the night. My night vision is not that good. I can’t wait to see everyone. Yipee!
Gifts For Him
I always find it hard to find gifts for guys. I don’t mean just the Husband but guys in general. It is just kinda hard to think of what to give them. Girls are easy to figure out because I’m one of them. Haha! We are easy to please (no objections please 
). Come on, a nice purse, makeup or just give us the shopping money so we can choose what we want and we are already happy. Hehe.
I checked on some sites to get suggestions for gifts for men. Some gift options are gadgets, Rocky Patel, car accessories and game tickets. Of course, the gift will also depend on the age and the personality of the person. As for my man, I figured out one thing that he would like but I think he will get it for himself as soon as he found out that it will be re-released this December. He might even beat me in buying it. I guess that leaves me with again no idea as to what to give him. 
Time to Organize
…with the organizer. LOL! Every year (except last year), I often get an organizer from Starbucks courtesy of my brother. Last year, he was not able to send me the organizer. It is not available in the States and it will cost too much to drink lots of frappucino just to have an organizer. Then, I wanted another one called Belle De Jour planner but it doesn’t make sense to have it sent it her because the shipping is just too much. This year, I already have my eyes set on an organizer for 2010. I found a real cute one from etsy but I don’t want to post it here because there’s only 1 stock and I don’t want it to be ’stolen’ from me. I’m just waiting for Thanksgiving week to end and I will get it.
I also need to work on this blog before the year ends. I might change the theme again and do some free directory submission.

Efren Penaflorida: more than just a maamo face

I’m happy to know that the Philippines’ bet Efren Penaflorida won as the CNN Hero of the Year. Hurray, good job team internet! During the so-called awards night, he looked so pinoy with his barong tagalog (designed by Rhett Eala, I think). He gave a very nice acceptance speech. You can watch a snip of the event in the CNN website. Congratulations, kabayan and continue educating our youth!
Black Friday Sale
We all love Fridays because its the day before the most awaited 2-days off from work. However, Friday next week is so much more exciting because its Black Friday again. I myself have saved up for that day just in case I found something I like in the store. I perused the web for Black Friday sales and I could not find anything that I fancy. I don’t need any of the stuff on sale so I guess I won’t be part of the crowd this year. As for gifts, I don’t know yet what to give the husband. It has to be something useful like work gloves.
