A Good Health Insurance
…that’s what we need. Who doesn’t want that? Not too long ago, I don’t worry about health insurance as this was provided by my employer. I did have good coverage then and that includes pre-existing conditions and even a visit to a good dermatologist. Then, I decided to switch companies and that’s when things fall apart. I had to co-pay a bigger amount and a lot of diseases are not covered. I was on the verge of getting my own personal health insurance but prices were off the roof. Fast forward to today, we are also having the same issues with the husband’s insurance and its quite frustrating. I’m looking for alternatives for us to have and I found good online resource at healthinsurance.me. There were several options provided on the site and one can simply request for a quote.
WW: Stop and Smell the Flowers
Here’s my entry for this week’s Wordless Wednesday…

Need More Practice
With my close calls last week, I definitely need more practice driving. You are probably wondering why I still haven’t got my license after almost a year of having my learner’s permit. I have driven all over the place, highways, interstate, different towns and bridges. However, my driving practices were too spread out that it always feels like first time driving. This week though, I have to keep on practicing because I’m quite determine in getting it this year. It is one of those it’s-now-or-never goals in my life. I need to get this over with before we get a new auto insurance quote this year.

Bed Weather

I wrote this last night.
4PM We are experiencing bad weather here in the East. Flood and tornado watch are ongoing. I’m scared (almost to the point of getting an instant life insurance quote). Left the house for a safer area.
9PM I no longer see the Tornado Watch on weather reports but flood watch is still in effect. Thank goodness, it doesn’t get flooded in our area. So now, I’m back at home and enjoying online time.
This Week
I can say that this week we have been very productive compared to last week. Here’s just some of the things we did this week:
- grocery shopping
- replace the bathroom carpet
- install curtain clamps and hang my newly sewn curtains
- expand my work station and re-arrange the bedroom
- setup the microwave oven
- walk around the lake twice
I still have some more things to do before the month ends like taxes, cards, more sewing and of course, my usual daily routine.
Thank You, Lord

Dear Lord,
Thank you for keeping us safe and away from harm when
- I almost drove to oncoming traffic
- The husband almost drove into traffic delineator posts
Again, thank you.
School is Cool
The husband mentioned tonight that every memory that I mention to him is almost related to school. It is not surprising since I spent most of my life in school. I started school at age 4 and finished college at age 21. I surely wouldn’t mind going back to school for further studies, an MBA perhaps but I think I prefer enrolling to an online university because of the convenience it brings. However, finding legitimate online degree programs can be tough at times. Research is quite important in making a right decision on where to go. In one of my searches online, I found Western Governor University that offers several degrees and including MBA. The website states that they are accredited and I double checked at the US Dept. of Education database and indeed they are. Not all online universities are accredited though. Be careful and research thoroughly on the school of your choice. Reading up on customer reviews also helps in choosing an online school that will suit your needs.
