Day 1
It was a busy busy day. We woke up at 3AM and left the house at 4:30ish. It was a very foggy till the sun came up. We arrived early and we had plenty of time to drive around town and check out the places where we used to go. Nothing much has changed except the biggest revelation for me is seeing someone else living in our old house. I was disappointed, just because we used to call it ours even if its just a rental place.
After we drove around, we headed to the church we used to attend. Before the service, we were able to chat with our old friends. There was a flurry of handshakes and hugs. It was nice seeing them again. After service, we checked in on our motel to get some shuteye since we were exhausted from lack of sleep and long hours of driving. Unless I have the best wrinkle treatment in my hands, I’m going to nee plenty of sleep. I had to go for an appointment in a few minutes so I will have to post a continuation of this Day 1 post.
