Piece of Mind
I feel so relieved right now. Today, I was able to send a big packet of documents that I have been working on for weeks. This has been bugging me for weeks and weeks. It stressed me out so much that I wasn’t able to sleep. Right after I mailed it, I took a much needed nap. Ahh, piece of mind (for now).
Thank The Felties
I was accompanying my MIL for her usual grocery shopping when I spotted this felt embellishment (Basic Grey Sugar Rush woolies) at the store. When I got home, a wave of creativity and crafting mojo came upon me.
I made several cards after an hour or so. Currently, I’m quite famished so I will have to eat (and probably look for most effective weight loss pills later). With that said, photos of my creations will be posted when I come back.
EDIT: As promised, here are the cards that I made last night. I won’t include the other one because a certain someone will see the card that is meant for him.

Man of the House

This may sound like a Valentine’s Day post but actually I just want to show my appreciation for my man. He is my all around Mister Fix-It. He can fix mostly everything in the house: seal the leaking roof, unclog the sink, set up security cameras, change oil in the car etcetera. He may not be the best cook but he has his own specialty dishes like the mouth watering clam chowder soup and yummiest BLT sandwich. I’m a lucky girl!
Basic Safety Tips

Over years of existence, I have learned ways in avoiding danger. I do get panicky sometimes but I’m grateful that God always watches over me. I do have some almost mishaps but so far I’m alive and well.
Anyway, there are things that I often do that are a bit OCD for some but not for me. Here’s my safety list:
- Pay attention to unfamiliar surroundings and look around for exit signs
- Unplug electrical appliances (except the fridge
) before leaving the house - Don’t leave cooking unattended
- Listen to weather radio forecasts and updates for impending storms
- Call 911 for emergency
You’ll never know when an emergency situation arises and one has got to be prepared.
P.S. Forgive me for posting a silly pic. Hehe. It was taken on my last day from work.
I Lost Again
…weight that is. Actually, it is more like I maintained it after adding a few back a week ago. Yesterday, I was worried about the scale at my doctor’s office. You see, I get weighed every time I go there, just one of those routine vitals check. I was worried because I just ate a big meal with the Husband at our favorite Thai Restaurant. Thankfully, it was ok. I did not gained and I actually lost. If I just keep on limiting my carbs, I will be in thinsville healthyville in no time. I have this big appetite that is so hard to control. Finding natural appetite suppressants that work will make me a happy camper. I don’t have a sweet tooth which works well for me. The rice is still my biggest frienemy.
