No, I haven’t been living under a rock. I have known about Pinterest for awhile now but did not join immediately. I waited and checked first if people are joining and indeed, several crafty peeps have joined the bandwagon. My mood boards are still scarce and it actually took me a while to work on my first one. However, when I made a mood board for shoes, I went crazy! I didn’t realize how much I love shoes till I joined Pinterest. There’s a budding Imelda Marcos here. LOL. And I smile big every time someone repins and likes my shoes. It is just nice to know that other people like my choices or share the same taste as me.
I have a mood board for gift ideas too. I would normally find something that I like but often forget about it. It is easier for me to recall if it something visual than just a bookmark of the site. I already pinned a picture of a pocket watch for the husband which he needs to forget. 
(side story: I was trying to explain to him how Pinterest works and he saw my gift ideas mood board). I will also pin duncan metal drifter yoyo for my nephew and of course, some ME gifts too. *wink wink*
