Christmas in the Philippines

As Christmas draws closer,  I’m beginning to think more and more how Christmas is celebrated back home in the Philippines.  I wish the husband can get to experience it too someday.  We have family traditions that he would surely enjoy like staying up on Christmas eve for the midnight dinner called Noche Buena.  Everyone in the neighborhood have music blasting in their speakers and nobody is complaining.  Sometimes a neighbor would play Christmas songs on her piano.  I wouldn’t be surprised if another neighbor starts playing a clarinet. That’s just the way it is there.  Everything is so festive.
