Color Me Bad
Every time I go out to do some gardening or to cut grass on our lawn, the husband is amazed on how quick I can get a tan. I don’t really have to stay too long and he can already see tan lines without me getting burned. I told him that back home I (just like most Asians) try my best to make my skin lighter and I used different soaps and lotions for that purpose. He chuckled and said that I’m lucky to have my skin because people here in the other side of the world do everything to make their skin darker. I guess I just have to appreciate my color more. I told the husband that I don’t think I will need to go to the tanning salon across the street. He agreed and said that I just need to lay down on our yard and I will get darker naturally but of course, I still need to put some discount tanning lotions for UV protection. Isn’t that interesting, you appreciate yourself more just by changing zip codes?

Eye Bro!
One of the things I hated most doing is plucking the eyebrows. It is the pain that is bothering me. Last night though I have decided to really do it. My eyebrows are soo bushy and looks like Jessa of Blusang Itim. haha..so I googled my way of finding a solution for the pain. I found out that toothpaste can help numb the area where I want to pluck. I guess the menthol helps in soothing the skin. It was effective for me. I cannot say that its is 100% no pain but it helps. Just a trick that I want to share to gals out there.
Snip Snip
Everybody seems to be getting a haircut nowadays. I keep on asking begging my husband to allow me. Finally, he said yes last thursday. He is not some tyrant by the way he just love my long hair soo much that he often said he’ll get sad if I cut it. We are still in the middle of summer here in the sunshine state, so a long hair doesn’t really help with this kind of weather. Read more
