Job Hunter
My goal next year is to be able to work and help out the Husband in our finances. I have no idea still what kind of job I will apply for. I want to try something new other than my old crappy call center jobs. The Husband doesn’t want me to work for retail and often advises me to choose one that will exercise my mind. I think I prefer to work from home for a change. Anyway, we don’t have a second car yet for me so it would be wise to do home based jobs plus it will save us money for gas. I bet next year will be a tough time for everyone job hunting. Not only am I going to compete with the newly graduates but also with the people who has been laid off this year. I hope I can get a good paying job like those people working for a public relations firm San Diego.
Work and Stress
This morning I just chatted with a friend for about hours. She just recently moved and currently has no job yet like me. I told her to relax and enjoy it for now because once she started working, she might be wishing its vacation time. She shared that she had to convince her husband everyday just to go to work. I advised her that its not practical to change jobs since a lot of companies are closing down. I guess he just finds his job stressful. I will have to email her information about stress relief training. I just saw it online today at The Stress Institute website. They have a whole range of courses for stress management. I should have found this earlier maybe then I would have felt stressed and depressed in my previous job.
Today
I didn’t blog to much today. Yesterday was a fun day for me and the Husband because we went out bowling and also had buffet at Golden Corral. I will post those soon. We went back so late that night that we laid down as soon as we got home. Today however I was busy with chores - cleaning and grocery shopping. Sorry can’t bloghop for now but will do tomorrow!

It Should Be a Happy Day
Yes, it should else I will wreak havoc, whine! This day should make me jump for joy as in really. What a great day to start my day with a headache. Ugh! I’m expecting something today and I hope it will come. Maybe then the headache will go away. If things don’t go as I hope for, I’ll plant this in the garden.

From time to time, the Husband plays personal technical support to me, his family and sometimes to his friends. Sometimes his friend Tim would call him up for technical assistance on his computer. Work It
I still don’t have any idea what kind of job I will apply for. I definitely don’t want to go back to technical support unless chat or email support. The Husband doesn’t want me to work for retail because he said that I will be wasting my college education and experience. I’m thinking of working for the government because of its great benefits or perhaps a regular office or maybe for an insurance company like United American Insurance Company since it is more stable. I guess I’ll just have to decide when everything is settled.
