Olive Snook Words
As I previously posted, I like watching “Pushing Daisies”. Kristin Chenoweth never fails to make me laugh with her funny lines and expressions. Here are some of her lines as Olive Snook:
“No, I don’t have a gun, I am the gun”
“I’m resigning my tenders to the cold harsh reality of what’s not meant to be”
“I like my belongings that is why they belong to me”
“Forgive me father for I am going to file a police report on all my worldly possessions”
“I’m having awkward silences with God”

Dethroned
Binibining Pilipinas released an official statement thru their site that Janina San Miguel resigned for personal reasons. Resignation and/or replacements in beauty pageants are quite common but remembering Ms. San Miguel’s disastrous q&a and only less than 2 months before the Miss World pegeant, makes one wonder if she was just not fit to represent RP that is why she is being replaced. Coincidentally though, her replacement speaks good english since she grew up in the States. Whatever the case maybe, prior to joining competitions like Binibining Pilipinas, contestants should be prepared and judges should choose wisely.
Separated at Birth?
The first time I saw Ned (Lee Pace) on Pushing Daisies, I thought he seems so familiar like I have seen him in another show or perhaps a movie. Now I know, he looks like Data (from Star Trek). Lookie, lookie…
BTW, tomorrow is the premiere of the 2nd season. Don’t forget to watch it.

Thanks to the husband, I just added a new tv show in my favorite list. Pushing Daisies is just one colorful show. I like the big bright colors that they use and watching the show is like doing some light reading. Living up to the title “pushing daisies”, the show revolves around Ned who can make a dead person alive by a simple touch of his finger. The twist though is that on the second touch, that person will be dead again forever and if he let that person “live” for more than 1 minute, someone else will die.
Losing My Mojo
I don’t know what’s wrong with me but I feel like I’m in a rut right now. As I explained to the husband, it is no t lack of things to do but the motivation to do things. He assured me though that it will go in time and may be the reason is that I don’t really go out everyday and I just stay glued to the laptop. I hope it will go away soon because I don’t like feeling this way.
TARA Lets
TARA aka The Amazing Race Asia 3 will soon start airing on AXN although the actual race is already finished last June. The Philippines will be represented by only 1 team - dating couple Geoff Rodriguez and Tisha Silang. They are two familiar faces. Geoff Rodriguez was part of the defunct Power Boys. Those guys who became popular because of deodorant commercial singing ala boy band. Tisha Silang on the other hand was a beauty queen. She won Binibining Pilipinas - Universe but has to relinquish her title due to citizenship issues.
I bet it was tough for them following last year’s team (Rovilson Fernandez and Mark Nelson). It was a really good fight and they kept filipinos glued to their televisions. I just hope that Tish and Geoff were able to stay long enough.
And Omri Was His Name…
I just recently got myself episodes of my favorite childhood show “Eerie Indiana”. I have never missed an episode before. Aside from the theme of the show, I had this crush with Omri Katz when I was a little girl. He was that same kid in the movie “Hocus Pocus”.
I would never forget that episode about the kid who can hear dogs communicate through his braces. Believe it or not, I thought about that when I got my first retainers. Hehe.
Anyway, I was wondering whatever happened to the show’s lead. I googled and found out that he is a hair dresser now according to imdb at least. His latest short film stint is quite far from the cute and smart Marshall Teller that I used to watch.
