Earth to Jen
I know that I have not been able to constantly update this blog like I used to. Lately, I have been spaced out not only in my online life but in the real world. However, despite this ‘phase’ that I’m going through, I have been quite busy doing artsy stuff like decorating our humble abode for the christmas season as well as making some layouts of digital scrapbook. I’m thankful to those people who visited and dropped EC and I will be dropping by your blogs soon.
Forest Fires
A lot of people has been devastated of the recent forest fires in California. We’ve heard all the reports of houses being damaged or destroyed. I’m sure there are other properties like vehicles burned that needs to be taken to auto body shops yorba linda. I immediately contacted a friend who lives there if she’s ok. Glad to know that they are not in the vicinity. She just recently moved and it would be terrifying to experience that in a new environment.
Think Happy Thoughts
Our little kitty Timmy is missing. We have looked for him everywhere but can’t find him. He usually go to the woods every night but always come home. I wonder where he is. I hope he is ok. He was born in the woods so we don’t get worried every time he ‘parties’ in the woods. I’m sad to think that he might have gotten hurt or lost, he is such a cute, chubby cheeked and cute cat. Happy thoughts that I should focused on:
- Thanksgiving at my in-laws
- Decorating for Christmas
- Online shopping
WW - Where are you, little one?

Flat Belly Goal
I can’t even count how many times I tried to achieve a flat belly. I always think that exercise and Flat Belly Diet play a big role in achieving this goal. I normally get stumped on the diet part since I don’t know where to start and what to eat. I think a challenge will motivate me to keep going. I just saw one from the Prevention Magazine. They are looking for women to try their Flat Belly Diet for free.

As I read more thru their site, I found out that the participants will get:

Bird in the Oven
I’m kinda nervous right now because I’m roasting turkey. Yeah, we are too early for Thanksgiving and definitely this is not the last turkey for this month. Hehe. This is my first time to cook it so I’m nervous and at the same time excited on how it will turn out. I have roasted chicken several times before and they came perfectly fine so I hope this one will turn out ok too. It is just a bigger bird right? It has been in the oven for almost 2 hours now, 1 hr and 45 minutes to go!
A Little Birdie Told Me
Today, I woke up with 61F temperature in our bedroom. I feel too lazy to get up because it was so cold. The sound of the birds chirping summoned me to go outside though. Our lazy cat Toby was also intrigued and stared outside through the kitchen screen door. In moments like this, I’m thankful that we live in the country. Everything just seems to be perfect. ![]()
