Time to Organize

…with the organizer. LOL! Every year (except last year), I often get an organizer from Starbucks courtesy of my brother. Last year, he was not able to send me the organizer.   It is not available in the States and it will cost too much to drink lots of frappucino just to have an organizer.  Then, I wanted another one called Belle De Jour planner but it doesn’t make sense to have it sent it her because the shipping is just too much. This year, I already have my eyes set on an organizer for 2010. I found a real cute one from etsy but I don’t want to post it here because there’s only 1 stock and I don’t want it to be ’stolen’ from me. :-P I’m just waiting for Thanksgiving week to end and I will get it.

I also need to work on this blog before the year ends.  I might change the theme again and do some free directory submission.

No TLC From FTC

FTC

I first read about the news in an article twitted by NPR.  I immediately visited the link because it affects probloggers like me.  So FTC has this new ruling to disclose any paid endorsements but this is not limited to blogs but also twitter and facebook. And so, my initial reaction was damn, this will really hurt bloggers like me.  But then I realized, wait a minute I do have disclosure policies on my blogs.  I read the news release at FTC and I could not find any specific rules laid down and it states that decisions will be made in a “case-by-case basis.” Right now I do not have any issue with this ruling but I’m kinda confused on how this disclosure should be made.  Is a homepage with a link to the disclosure policy enough?  Do I have to disclose on every paid post?  In what manner does the disclosure should appear?  So many questions that need answers but for now, I will play it by ear.  Oh and by the way, I want to disclose that I’m not in anyway getting paid or accepting freebies from NPR or FTC. ;)

I Will Continue Blogging

..even if I never got to do the wordless wednesday last week (and yesterday).  I also owe a tag from Gwacie.  Sorry about that.  I will get to it as soon as I can, sis. while the world is busy talking about celebs and their creative outburst ala Boyet Fajardo, this household is quite hectic.  A certain someone has to do doubles for three days in a row.  The night (my waking moments) seems longer now while the day is becoming shorter for us.  Although, it seems hard right now, I still consider it a blessing to be able to earn extra.  In my attempt not to be bored and lonely, I made my own set of to-do things to keep me busy.  Cleaning is enough to take away the time but I will do my best to include other things like blogging. *wink*  For now, I can’t wait to lay on the bed.  I’m so tired and will blog again when I wake up.

Newer and Better

To my dismay, my site visits dropped this month.  I have nobody else to blame but me since I have not been updating it much lately and have not been online for days at times.  Well, since I’m done with my spaced out moods, change is about to come.  I enjoyed so much designing a new blog and I have decided to re-design this page as well.  I’m still checking out some 3-column themes.  I want one that is flexible and easier to customize to my liking.  I hope it will be ready by 2009.

200 and still going!

I can’t believe that I’m already on my 200th post.  The 100 posts took awhile since I had a full time job then so I can’ t update my blog as often as I want to.  In less than 3 mos. I am now in my 200th post.  I can’t believe it.   Thanks to my online friends who always visit my lil space in the web.  I really need friends since I’ve moved and I’m glad I get to meet them thru my blog.  :)
