A Friend’s Blog

I’m not the only blogger in my friends.  While looking through the careers section of IT companies (the likes of www.consonus.com), I found out the other day that one of my high school friends just started blogging.  I read and enjoyed the entries she posted.  Most of her posts were personal experiences. I know some of them but there are also some that I’m not aware of. I’m glad that she found an outlet to express herself since she’s a stay-at-home mom.

Still Here

Though it seems that I haven’t blogged in days, I actually did several times but I have not posted them yet.  Don’t be surprised if you see a huge chunk of posts in your feed reader.  I have them dated that time I made them and not on the day posted.  I have the habit of launching notepad and typing whatever I have in mind in that particular time or day.  Let me just say, how much I love notepad.  Hehe.  I tried post-it (digital one) but it just cluttered my screen.  I went back to my beloved notepad.  Ok, here goes a series of old and new posts.  Have a great day!

Weekend

Now that the weekend is officially over (it is already 12:34AM my time), I can say I was quite productive.  I was up early and finished all the household chores and made a couple of layouts for another photobook. My free credit will expire middle of this month and I don’t want to waste it.  I wanted to make a recipe book but I don’t have enough pictures and recipes plus I need to buy a new digital kit for that.  I decided to make a week-in-the-life project instead.  I wanted to buy brushes and templates for this project but I can’t right now due to ground rules I made for myself. ;)   I will post about that one of these days.  Instead of spending, I made my own templates for this project.  It helps making layouts faster.  I was able to make 6 pages in less than an hour.

In another note, it seems like my schedule this week will be messed up again.  Here I am, blogging @ 12:41 when I should be sleeping.  It was the Husband’s fault for making me take a nap.  LOL, just kidding hun.

AWITL: Saturday

This is the final day of my “A week in the life” project. I did not spend a lot of time on my laptop today.  I took the chance to read continue reading one of the books and I’m quite happy I was able to finish it. Yay!  I stayed all day long in our bedroom finishing up this book, playing with toby, squirm and gray, browsing some sites and talking to the husband.  I did not have to cook for dinner because we still have lots of leftover fried rice. This has been a very simple week for me and I guess it does seem boring because I made it that way.  Maybe I should try other things like gardening, digiscrapping and working out again.  That should boost up my energy and creativity.

AWITL: Friday

I’m actually feeling kinda lazy today so this will be a short update.  This is how my friday was.  I already started on one of the books I got from the bookstore.  Yes, its a chic lit.  I will never get tired of them even when I’m already old. :)   Around 7PM, we went downtown yet again to go to the laundromat.  We have no working dryer so we had to go there to dry our sheets.  That lasted for a good 30 minutes then off we went to the grocery.  We bought ingredients for our never ending fried rice.  I changed it a bit this time and made yang chow fried rice for us.  I added shrimps for this one but the rest of the ingredients are the same.  I saved some shrimps for my halabos na hipon (pan fried shrimps).  They are not as good as my mom’s but will do for now.  After dinner, I continued reading my book till I got tired.  Phew!  Just one day to go and I’m done with this project. Weee!  Ok, I’m off to read about ancestry dna and then finish the rest of my book. Night!
