Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Have a wonderful Christmas! Let us not forgot why
we celebrate this day each year – God’s great love for us.
Merry Blogging Day 24: Christmas Eve
The husband has to work tonight so I spent Christmas Eve at my Aunt’s house. It was nice seeing kids (my nephew and niece) enjoying holiday traditions like opening their presents. This is the cake she made and we sang the happy birthday song to Jesus before she blew the candle. She does this every Christmas with her Grandma. I like this tradition because it reminds her the real reason for the season!

Merry Blogging Day 23: Longest Day Ever
Today, we spent time running errands. This has been the longest day ever and the holiday Christmas rush is not helping. This is probably the worst possible time to go to the store but this is the only time we have and we are running out of food. We went home exhausted but fulfilled because we accomplished so many things today.
Merry Blogging Day 20: Christmas Songs
I have been playing Christmas songs non-stop (at night) using Pandora. This year it is even better because they removed the playing limit. I don’t mind hearing ads after a couple of songs as long as I can keep on listening so it is working favorably for me.

Merry Blogging Day 18: Ornaments
I will cheat here a bit because we will sleep early tonight. There is nothing worthy of a post that happened today. To make up for it, I will blog more about our decor. This year, I used ornaments given to the husband (by his co workers) and of course, my old DIY ones too. This is a pair of ornaments that was given to him. It was even personalized with our names on it!
