Scrooge Lives Here

We are already entering the 2nd week of December but there is still no sign of Christmas in this house. That’s what happen when I procrastinate too much now I’m so far behind. Last night, I couldn’t take it anymore and has to do something quick to make our place Christmas-y, after all its my favorite holiday. I end up making a wreath using cardboard from a computer box and some patterned papers from my scrapbooking stash.

I still have some felt available at home that can be turn into wonderful decorations. I can’t find any good excuse since I stay at home most of the time. Busy? Hell no! It’s not like I’m a pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney. Just lazy, I suppose. I already made some Christmas cards so that’s good. Talking about decorations, I’ll go ahead and start on some more projects. Ta ta!

DIY gifter

Christmas is coming up soon. I know its kinda early to say that but sometimes you get all surprised and here comes Christmas. This year I want to make DIY gifts. It was also the plan last year till I get lazy. Hehe. I have several things in mind and I don’t think I will post all of them here because some of the recipients actually read my blog. One of the things that I want to try though (for myself) is to string a simple accessory like a necklace. I don’t have a budget for loose diamonds so I’m thinking swarovski crystals. So many projects, so little budget! We’ll see how things go in the next couple of weeks. I hope I can at least make some of these projects I have in mind. Good luck to me!

A Christmas Story

My christmas was quite simple yet well spent with my favorite person in the world – the Husband.  The night before Christmas I just chatted with my family online.  We did not have the typical noche buena.  I cooked bourbon street chicken for us for dinner.  We then open one of the gifts at 12 MN.  Then, on Christmas Day we went out and watch a movie and ate at a nearby buffet restaurant.  When we came home, we opened the rest of the gifts.  Here’s a picture of our first christmas together with our ‘cute’ tree:

Christmas Eve

I’m quite spoiled these days because he is on christmas break.  Come January, I will have less time spent with the Husband.  Oh well, part of life as they say.  He is working and studying hard so we can have better lives.  Aside from paying bills, we need to get health and auto insurance next year.

Merry Christmas!

Its already christmas eve!  How time flies so fast.  I hope everyone will have a very merry christmas.  Here’s an quickpage I got from weeds and wildflowe designs.
