Merry Blogging Day 15: Decked!
Ten days before Christmas and I finally managed to decorate our place. I pulled out my old decors that I have been using for three years now. Now, it is REALLY beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Merry Blogging Day 14: Christmas Cards

We signed a bunch of cards today. Another holiday task done. The husband prepared most of them which I am very thankful for. Now,we just need to mail them to families and friends.
Merry Blogging Day 10: Festive Mugs
These are my newly acquired holiday themed mugs. It is made of ceramic so I’m not expecting it to last long but I want something festive to use for the holidays. Also, they are dirt cheap so I won’t be sad if they break. They are just so adorable that I had to get them!

Wake Me Up When September Ends
Most of my Facebook friends have been posting about the coming Christmas season. I on the other hand, am not yet on that level of thinking. There’s still Halloween and Thanksgiving to look forward to. I’m looking forward to Fall festivals and that includes Oktoberfest. Hehe.
While I find putting Christmas decor and playing Christmas songs too early, saving up for Christmas shopping is not. As early as now, it is wise to start looking at Black Friday deals and gamestop coupons. I know the feeling of regret of not buying early something that went out out-of-stock on December.
Temperatures are dropping down at night so our air-conditioning system has time to rest. I can still feel the summer heat in the middle of the day but I’m starting to prepare for the coming cold weather. Let me end this post by introducing my new pink fuzzy slipper that will keep me warm this winter!
The Gift that Keeps on Giving
I recently received in the mail two Lucky magazines, one for January and one for February. I have a year of subscription, thanks to my sister-in-law. She probably is not even aware that she gave me the subscription.
Last Christmas, she gave me what I call the “girlfriend gift”. It was a basket of girly stuff: body wash, scruber thingy and lavender mist. All of these items were inside a cute pink basket. At the bottom of all the goodies where a small piece of paper that talks about the free subscription. Normally, people throw away this piece of paper that just seems like part of the packaging. Luckily, I didn’t threw mine and actually read it so that’s how I found out that it came with a mag subscription. I went online, entered the codes and got myself a year of subscription of my choice (Lucky) of Conde Nast magazine.
