Ham-mer Time!

The husband is really challenging my cooking skills.  Hehe.  Today, I’m cooking ham.  It was just a spur of the moment when we bought that ham.  I told him that we should not buy turkey again so we will miss the taste of it.  My mother-in-law will be preparing that on thanksgiving anyway.  So far, the ham is looking and tasting good.  We are just waiting for one more hour till our next great meal. Yay!

Thanksgiving Dry Run

As I posted awhile ago, I was roasting turkey.  I’m glad it turned ok for a first-timer like me.  I was busy all day cooking much like a thanksgiving dinner.  I cooked also butternut squash, gravy and rice (for me of course).  Me and the Husband just finished dinner.  My tummy is so full right now.  We have a lot of turkey meat to last for days. :)

we already grab the drumsticks before I remember taking a pic

Slow Day

Me and the Husband are taking advantage of his week off from school.  We stayed in the house and sleep as long as we want or just slack around the house watching movies or old shows like Tales from the Darkside.  The cold weather is quite a treat as well so being inside the house is just right.  I have been off my kitchen duties for several days now.  LOL.  He is in-charge of our meals and I can just smell ground beef from the kitchen as we speak.  Got to go for now, I’m famished!
