Not in the Mood

I have fallen off the wagon. It has been two days in a row that I have not exercised. I was feeling crappy the past few days and don’t have any motivation at all. Perhaps a good piece of fitness equipment will help get me back on my feet but right now I just want to take a break from it all. Today is another day so maybe later I will get my motivation back after a good sleep. I was able to continue reading the bible though. I find it now quite interesting. I will have to save that it in the another post though.

Indoor Workout

Summer is gone.   The temperature is already dropping but I welcome the change.  Fall is not as bad as winter.  I already have my knits and myriad of jackets ready for this year.  The A/C will now be taking its much needed break.  Everyone seems to be forgetting their weight loss resolutions because the holidays are getting close. I also noticed the diminishing shelves of weight loss pills in the store.  Guess, what?  I dare to be different.  Regardless of not getting enough sleep lately, I still have been doing my exercise routine.  The husband is thinking of getting me a treadmill too so I can do my walks inside the house.  I got to lose those pounds from eating bacons and sausages this week.  *blush*

Slowly But Surely

I’m happy to say that I’m no longer feeling lousy and depressed. It went away so I guess it helps to have a naturally lit room. I feel so much better now and also it helps that I got my sun back. Hehe. I always like sunny weather despite the heat. Since I have been binging (emotional eater eh?), I gained back the pounds I lost last month. :( Oh well, that’s life.

I’m back to regular programming which means portion control and exercise. I have thought about taking crevax but I will have to read reviews about it. I started doing my routines again last night too. I will play it up by adding a new one just so that I won’t get bored.

Before and After

Just to get me into the groove of exercising, I decided to watch some youtube videos of people’s progress. I get inspiration in looking at their before and after pictures. Those are amazing transformations and I hope one day I will be the one showing off mine. It will take a lot of hard work and discipline to achieve the results they got. I only did a 20 minute workout today and I’m already catching my breath. It goes to show that I’m out-of-shape. I lost about 2-3 pounds last month and I want to lose more this month. I might need to add supplements and diet pills to help me out.

Jogging Menace

The other day, the Husband and I decided to go for a walk in the nearby lake.  This lake actually has a pathway which is level enough for a person to jog.  I insisted that I will jog that day instead of doing brisk walking.  Based on experience, jogging is the most effective way for me to lose weight.  I used to jog in ULTRA Pasig (before the stampede).  I can go around it 10 times in an hour but that was long ago.  I decided to try that again this time at the lake but I just finished 3/4 of a mile and I was already exhausted.  My heart was pounding and I started feeling sick so I stop and sat on a nearby bench.  This is just a sign that I’m so out of shape.  I will have to work my way up again and maybe I can do high impact exercise like using an elliptical.

Write It Down

I thought of making a journal for weight loss so I can see progress and at the same time keep me going.  I really really want to lose weight.  Something that has always been in my New Year’s resolution.  I know that lately I have been posting alot lately about this topic but I want to don’t want to reach 30 years old fat and ugly.  My time is running out because I will turn 30 soon.  As I was checking for ideas on the web about weight loss journal, I came across some videos about lapband surgery.  Based on the videos and pictures, there were great improvements.  I think that operation is recommended for the highly obesed folks since their lives are already in great danger.  I don’t think I will have to wait for that for me to happen.  I better exercise now.

Healthy Living

I often complain about how much weight I gained over the past few years.  I know exactly why but just doesn’t want to start working on it.  For those people who wanted to lose weight, there’s no big secret.  We all know that we just have to exercise and eat healthy.  Since me and the Husband are both techi-holics, glued to our laptops most of the time, we ‘forget’ those two golden rules.  It all comes back though in the morning when we will be weighing ourselves.  Hehe.  I will have to tell him about freshfunds, – my new discovery.  We need to change our diet and get healthy products at the store next time we go grocery shopping.  Then, I can earn points and bid on exercise machines at freshfunds.com.  Talk about killing two birds with one stone.  I think kids will find The Sproutwells video entertaining yet it still teaches them the value of health.
