Eye See You

We got our eye exam today. It took longer than anticipated but I don’t mind because this is by far the most detailed eye test that I ever had. My usual eye test back in the 3rd world takes less than 15 minutes. There is of course quite a big difference in the consultation fees but all in all it is worth it. I always have issues with my eyes due to heredity. I have been wearing glasses since high school and then added contact lenses in college. I would definitely exchange the “smart look” to having clear vision. My glasses are the first thing I look for the moment I wake up. Anyway, I’m glad that I got this vision exam. I’m wearing new set of contacts right now for testing purposes. I can see clearer now and its quite easy for me to read adipex review online. My astigmatism has gotten worse though so I hope one day I will be able to afford lasik to correct it.
My Recent Purchase
I broke my glasses again. Yesterday, the husband told me to order a new pair online and I did. I’m not too worried now about the price because I can get them on an online optical shop (zenni optical) that sells affordable $ 8 Rx eyeglasses. This is my second pair from them actually. I use my eyeglasses every day so it is subjected to wear and tear.
I totally recommend this shop for parents who needs glasses for their kids this school year. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on getting them a pair. If in case they break it, no big deal its not expensive anyway. Ordering on online optical shops are getting popular due to its convenience and affordability. No wonder, tv stations kept featuring Zenni Optical on TV!!! I’m always on the lookout for affordable goods and services online. This definitely fits the bill. High Five to Zenni Optical!
To See Is To Believe
I have posted last year about my wanting to get eyeglasses because one, I lost my other pair and two, my second pair is broken beyond repair. I promised myself that this year, I will get new eyeglasses. My contact lenses are straining my eyes. The Husband and I went to the nearby optical shop and checked for frames. Man, they were so expensive. It will cost me between $100-$200 just for a standard prescription glasses. Thank God for the internet I found prescription eyeglasses for only $8! I can’t believe it. The online eyeglass shop is called zennioptical.com. Although, I’m quite frugal, I also consider myself a smart shopper, so what I did is read reviews about the company. I found great reviews online and surprisingly I also read about Zenni Optical in the New York Times?!. I went ahead and ordered online. I want the $18 frame and have anti-reflection coating added to it. It costs me less than $25 and that already includes shipping fees. This is what you call seeing straight without breaking bank. When the glasses arrived, I was ecstatic. It was a perfect fit. I was surprised with that small amount I paid, I got high quality prescription lenses. My only advice for those who will be ordering is to make sure that you chose the frame that fits your face. The site displays the dimensions of the frames which makes it easier to choose. You can either measure your old frames or go to a nearby optical shop and try on frames that fits your face well then take note of the dimensions. Haha. That’s what I did. In case you are curious, below is the picture of the frame I ordered and me wearing that exact frame. Nice huh?
Out of Sight
My eyeglasses already gave in. The Husband has tried to stick it together with a sticky glue to no avail. I guess it is really time for me to get new glasses. I still think about my other pair that I lost last summer. It is too difficult not to wear one just like the other day when I have to take off my contact lenses. I suffered all day seeing things in a blur. If I can find an $ 8 Complete Rx Eyeglasses that will be perfect. The popular online eyeglasses shop that sells affordable glasses is my target. I do want to order one of the stylish Holiday Glass Frames From Zenni Optical. I want this one in black.
Eye Know
It is hard when you have four eyes meaning eyes with glasses. The more bad news for me though is that my glasses are falling apart. Yes, the last remaining pair I have since I lost the other one during one of our swimming trips at the spring. I heard it snap again last night. The Husband had already sticky glued it last time. I need to look for great eyeglasses for less because this is an unplanned spending. I think I will go with Variable Dimension Frames From Zenni.
