What I’m Watching
Gossip Girl
I just finished watching the season finale. In my opinion, GG has lost its steam this season. I don’t know why but it is no longer the same as before. I like it way back when Blair Waldorf was the queen bee of Constance. Now, she’s just transformed into a goody goody outcast of NYU. Also, I’m getting tired of Serena’s habit of switching boyfriends. It is slowly becoming like “The Bold and The Beautiful”. As for Jenny Humprey, she needs a fresh new look. All that emo makeup makes her look older than CeCe. It’s funny that I don’t have much to post about the male characters. Chuck has become like Blair – boring. His character is now showing enzyte side effects. LOL. I do hope they will have a better season this fall. I really want to keep watching the show. Please, please writers, make it exciting again.
Flashforward
The pilot episode was good. I love the effects and all. As the show progresses, the husband started losing interest. I, on the other hand, held on because I hate starting something that I won’t finished. Sadly, this week ABC announced its cancellation. I hate it when networks do that. I want them to tie all loose ends without fast forwarding (no pun intended) it. So now it turns out, I just wasted my time watching the show. We (the viewers) are always at the mercy of the networks. What a sad ending.
Lost
Tonight is the last episode before the season finale. I’m excited but I canot watch it till the husband gets home. I hope they answer all the questions. We were already tired but I’m glad we were able to watched it midnight before going to bed. There is going to be a party (in this house, at least) on May 23rd for the last episode ever!
Glee
I’m a Gleek too! But I have to watch each episode the next day to give way to Lost episodes with the husband. I do enjoy each episode and I “force” the husband to watch it with me from time to time. He knows most songs in the show than I do! I always love musical shows but sometimes they can get cheesy. Glee is different though. I find each character very animated. To me, its like a musical version of Pushing Daisies.
I also have a couple of shows that I watch from time to time like V, Happy Town (new), Cleveland Show, SNL and Family Guy. I’m also waiting for the return of the only vampire-themed series that I watch - True Blood. Even though it seems like I’m watching a lot, it is still not as much as I used to. I have gotten rid off my junk tv days. No reality shows for me except Forensics but that doesn’t really count.
Art Imitates Life
I know I have been blogging about Gossip Girl too much. I just have to point out that they are pairing off real couples. And no, I’m not talking about Serena and Dan (Blake-Penn). Carter and Blair was a surprise although we all know that’s just for play since Carter is just a recurring character. About Vanessa and Chuck, well well well, I guess the CW is taking a cue from the paparazzis. I’m quite happy that Nate and Blair are back together for real this time. I also want to comment on Poppy’s stiff hair. It looks like those wigs used in pinoy movies. However, her hottie boyfriend is so much better than Trip Vanderbuilt. Maybe Nate’s mother is adopted because she seems to be the only good looking relative as far as the Vanderbuilts. LOL. Before I get too serious about this show, I better end this post. You know you love me. XOXO.
Laida and Poppy have the same hairdresser?
Gossip Girl Is Back!

Weee! Tonight Gossip Girl will return after their break. I can’t wait to watch it. I’m excited. I miss seeing my girl, Blair and of course their to-die-for outfits. Dan-Serena no more, Dan-Ms. Carr now? Eww, but I have to say they kinda look good together. As for Nate, I still don’t like Vanessa for him. Will Chuck Bass find out about his father’s secret society? And yes, I still want to know what happened between Blair and Jack last New Year’s Eve. I bet it ended with a bang. LOL. Also just read that they are already shooting the Lily spin-off. I would love to see that too but I’m not enthusiastic with the chosen actress, Brittany Snow. Her face is too strong for me. Oh well, I will try not to focus on face and maybe I will warm up to her character.
TV Land
Gossip Girl - I’m not a big fan of Aaron (John Patrick Amedori) but somehow on the show he kinda reminds of Milo Ventimiglia so I will give him cute points for that. LOL. As for the real cutie Nate, I don’t like his recent choices: Little J and Vanessa?!? Ewww. I want more action from the Queen Bee that is Blair. She seems to be incognito now a days. I also miss seeing her headband collection. I just read an interview of Josh Schwartz (creator of Gossip Girl) that Georgina will come back to haunt the Upper East Siders so that will bring again some ’sparks’. As for Bart, they killed them off this week but he’s always in a trip anyways. I’m still awaiting the whole deal with Lily and Rufus’ spawn. Unborn or hiding somewhere, who knows?
Pushing Daisies - Last week’s episode was so amazing. Bursting in colors like always and the cinematography is just so wonderful. The Husband said that is now his favorite episode. As for me, just make Olive (Kristen Chenoweth) sing and its a done deal.
Kiss Me Quick
Spotted: Serena kissing a guy and its not Dan. Hmmmm…
