Halloween Recap

After having dinner, we carved some pumpkins.  I always look forward to this activity each year and the husband knows that.  He actually thought I already have an image in mind as to what to carve when in fact that I don’t.  All I know is that I don’t want to make the usual Jack O’ Lantern face.  I only did that the first and has never done that again.  He seem to like that idea so we both browsed online for images to use.  Well, he did carve a face but an awesome face (really, that what it’s called)!  On the other hand, I made a cute carving of Chococat and I’m quite proud of my work, hehe.

Halloween is incomplete without a scary movie so of course we have to watch one.  We watched a 1978 version of the “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”.

I just had to use this screencap because it looks so funny. :-D

Then, it was time to sleep and enjoy this cold weather.  Another Halloween is over.

Never Too Late

I know it is way past Halloween but I just want to post a little something before I go back into reading diet pill reviews. ;) Well, I mentioned about the pumpkins waiting to be carved. And yes, I finally got around to it. Don’t even ask when I carved them. It was really late. The most important thing is I enjoyed doing it and was happy to express my creativity. Oh and I was able to do it before the said pumpkins start to rot. That counts, right? Come to think of it, I’m quite early…before next year’s Halloween that is! LOL. Here’s my never-too-late pumpkins.

Post Halloween

Halloween is all over and done with but there are still two pumpkins waiting to be carved. Life has been busy lately so other things have taken the backseat. I grew up considering November as the Halloween month anyway. Talking about being busy, yesterday I had my checkup with the MD. I was hoping I will be finally off of my meds but it was the complete opposite. He increased the dosage because I’m below the therapeutic level in my blood. Oh well, I will just have to be patient and wait till I reach my 6 months goal.  Soon, I will be able to freely eat my greens again.

We also visited Dad in the hospital yesterday. He must be very bored because he has been there for a month now. The holidays are coming up soon and I wish he will be home by then. Now, I understand what relatives feel when they learned about the Mesothelioma diagnosis of a family member. We still keep on praying for his quick recovery.  This has been quite stressful for him and the family.  I will be so glad once he is back to his good old healthy body.

I Just Want To Greet Everyone…

Happy Halloween

All Things Halloween

I want to go to a pumpkin patch but there’s none where I live. :( When we get back from our upcoming trip up north, I plan on buying two huge pumpkins from the local grocery. Then, it will be pumpkin carving time for me and the hubby! Can you tell that I’m a kid at heart?

The other day, while grocery shopping I could not help myself from trying on some wigs. The husband of course gamely snapped some pictures. They are not high quality wigs but it was fun trying them on. I had make up on that day so my pimple scars aren’t that obvious. I need to check www.topacneproducts.org online so I don’t have to be a scarface every after Aunt Flo’s visit. Anyway, here’s my attempt to be blonde. :-D
