Merry Blogging Day 23: Longest Day Ever
Today, we spent time running errands. This has been the longest day ever and the holiday Christmas rush is not helping. This is probably the worst possible time to go to the store but this is the only time we have and we are running out of food. We went home exhausted but fulfilled because we accomplished so many things today.
Saving Up for Better Things
I have officially started my self-imposed shopping ban. I won’t be shopping for anything (which means anything other than the basic necessities) in store or online from now till at least mid-November. I’m saving up for better (not necessarily bigger) things for the upcoming Black Friday sale. I don’t know what I will be getting yet but maybe it will be another electronic device. It will all depend on what will be on sale that day. Most likely, I will get an external hard drive because I need an extra room for my files and I want to free up some space from the laptop too. My old EHD is already full to the brim. I would love to have a better camera too but that’s a want and not a NEED. As far as which store to go to, I will have to compare rates online first to find out which one offers the best deal. Are you saving up for Black Friday too?
Women And Shoes
Before, the moment I enter a mall the first two words that I look for: shoes womens. It is still quite true today but I have been holding it off because if I buy a pair of shoes, I want an outfit to match it too. Ah, the joys of being a woman. My wardrobe right now is limited but I’m planning on building it back again. First, gotta lose the weight so I have more options for clothes. I’m not obsessed about weight loss but I have to do it for the sake of my health. I’m not overly obese but I’m not on a healthy weight either.
I just had a thought why women like shoes so much. Trying on clothes the day after you overeat is quite frustrating but shoes, now that’s a different story. Our feet can’t change overnight.
Shoppingera
Christmas stuff are on sale and soon, all winter accessories and clothes will be on sale too. It is going to be just like Black Friday again with all the nice discounts minus the long lines and waking up early morn. It will be tempting to buy but I have to be smart and save as much as I can so I can do other things. Other than running our household, I’m also handling our finances. I take this job seriously because the husband is counting on me. He is depending on me to make sure that our funds are allocated wisely. I figured out that by simply looking at our budget discourages me from overspending. It puts everything into perspective instantly. There are days though that it’s hard to look away so I just indulge myself by browsing online. After all, shopping is every woman’s favorite sport. *wink*

December is finally here! Winter weather is here so everyone’s looking pale. Hehe. Maybe a visit to the website http://www.tanningbedlotions.com, will bring back color to our faces.
The countdown to Christmas now also begins! Even with Black Friday and Cyber Monday behind us, there are still some serious Christmas shopping needed to be done. I’m happy though that I was able to sneak in some purchases. The discounts were good and free shipping is nice too. I hope I will still have money left once the holidays are over. I already have cards ready to be sent out. All I need to do is start sending them. I’m way behind the decorations this year but I think I will be able to get it done soon. So far, I’m still on the track which is good. But even if I do, I promise not to stress out this year.
