A Little Trip And A Bit Of Shopping
I’m currently blogging away from home. This was a half-planned trip and we went ahead anyway. I already finished one of the books I borrowed before we left and I’m not sure if I will be able to finish the 2nd one during this trip. I easily get distracted when I’m away from home.
The other day, we went out to see the malls near the area. It has been a long time since I have been inside a mall. I took the time browsing for some moisturizers and facial wash but I went home empty handed. There were a lot of brands to choose from like neutrogena skin id, olay, aveeno and so much more. I still have not finalize on what product to get as I’m not yet done reading reviews. I know I’m choosy but I want to buy something that is affordable but effective. I’m always a fickle minded shopper which can be a good thing sometimes because that means I saved money.
Christmas Every Day
Christmas is over but I still keep on getting gifts courtesy of the husband. He has been very generous to me. If I tell him that my video card is busted, I’m sure he will order it for me within seconds. What can I say, I’m such a lucky girl. This year though, I told myself that I will save more and spend less. It is not an easy feat and browsing online stores doesn’t help. Haha! So far, I can say I’m doing well. Let’s see how long it will last. 
Black Friday Sale
We all love Fridays because its the day before the most awaited 2-days off from work. However, Friday next week is so much more exciting because its Black Friday again. I myself have saved up for that day just in case I found something I like in the store. I perused the web for Black Friday sales and I could not find anything that I fancy. I don’t need any of the stuff on sale so I guess I won’t be part of the crowd this year. As for gifts, I don’t know yet what to give the husband. It has to be something useful like work gloves. Shopping Spree
…is what I’m wishing for right now. It is quite a challenge to save up when you get these emails with coupon codes. I often get discounts from my online shopping because of these coupons. I’m still sad for missing out on the Circuit City closing sale.I love good deals and it makes me feel better to pay less. Yes, I’m thrifty. My dad would probably say that its because of my Ilocano blood. If you don’t know what Ilocano means, better check it out here . It wasn’t that hard right? Hehe. Anyway, I’m currently on a shopping freeze. I think I haven’t shopped in a long time anyway. I’m itching to get some scrapbook supplies from one of my favorite store and they just gave me $5 discount on shipping. It has a deadline so I’m just hopelessly watching the clock tick away. Oh well, that’s just how life is.
Go Help Yourself
I’m a sucker for self-help books. Hehe. I like the feeling of being inspired and who doesn’t. Although, not all books can bring that to me except Andrew Matthew’s Follow Your Heart. I have read that book so many times and I keep on re-reading it. I want to buy his other book though called Being Happy. I think it will be a good read just like the other one. I already started checking out online shops for this book. Online shopping is now so revolutionized that it’s easy to find everything you need. You can even buy your baby’s needs like a stroller or a car seat. Anyway, as I was saying I’m hoping to get that book either this month or next month. There are different stores that sell them and all I need to do is to compare prices and chose the best deal of course.
Window Shopping
I have no problems as far as controlling myself from shopping. The Husband will agree on this. I’m quite disciplined in spending especially when I don’t have much money these days. Quite surprising when I have been addicted to shopping once upon a time in my life. Back then, it seems like there’s no tomorrow like there’s a need to talk to a Jagad Guru for advices. During christmas season, I always find myself overshopping that I don’t remember where all my money go. Although, I can say that it was a waste of good money, it sure was the good times. I don’t worry about tomorrow. I guess it is also good to experience that once in your life.
This year, I become wiser. There are still moments though that it is hard to hold on to the cash especially when I see good deals and big sales. For now, I’ll just indulge myself with window shopping and more of penny pinching.
Shopping
We went out shopping all day. The Husband was able to buy shoes and jeans. I end up buying nothing. LOL. I am quite surprised myself because I am such a shopaholic then. My mind keeps on converting dollars to pesos. Hehe. I guess I’m just too choosy and frugal at the same time. I’m itching to buy iPod classic that I have failed to buy last year but I’m having second thoughts because I don’t want to blow my money all in one shot. I’m still confused. I don’t need a cellphone but I want an MP3/MP4 player that can also read ebooks. I have to think wisely. I might end up shopping online and use online coupon codes. Maybe I should wait on Black Friday Sale. I dunno, just can’t decide yet.
