I leaped on leap year

I was soo sleepy from lack of sleep the other day. I went straight to bed as soon as I got home from work. I have only been asleep for a couple of hours when my cousin starts knocking at my door. When I open the door he said, “Jan na daw visa mo”. I was surprised. Part of me was excited but another part of me is saying “nah, probably they just returned my passport with a reject stamp on it”. After paying the delivery guy, I hurriedly open the package and took out my passport. Alas! There it is, I got approved. I can’t believe it. After grueling months of waiting and frustration, we finally got what we’re hoping for. I told Stephen and he was ecstatic. We just kept on laughing for a good 2 mins (i think). I need to leave soon and my resignation is just the perfect timing. Indeed, God gives you what you are praying for in the perfect time and place.
Happy Valentine’s Day

After a very tiring yet unfruitful day yesterday, I woke up early with a bad case of allergies. Dusts and smoke belching buses and jeepneys yesterday should be blamed. Anyway, I was supposed to go to work but this irritating allergies keep on bothering me so once again, I was absent. Not very surprising though for my team mates, I’m sure but that’s another story. I love ma girls!

I’m not sure if alot of couples do this but me and my hunny often talk about our future. When I say future, it doesn’t end with the wedding but how our house will look like, where are we going to live and how many kids are we going to have. I’ve always wanted to have a baby girl but when I me Steve, I decided I want to have a lil boy more because he’s gonna be a little version of his daddy (cute!). So when we were on the topic about having babies, he said he wants to have a lil girl. After soo many discussions, we’ve decided to have 2 girls (preferably twins) and then a boy. We haven’t decided yet on what we will name our lil boy which is too early to come up with one anyways. lol. But for our girls, I would like for her to have a name Sophia because I remember my english professor back in college said that the name means beauty and brains so I have kept that in my mind that when I will have a girl, that will be her name. In the meantime, Steve wants to her to have a name Olivia and so we decided to have two girls then..hehe..easy resolution right?
Its kinda interesting though what coincidence that the movie “The Holiday” (one of my favorite movies) where Jude Law have daughters named Sophie and Olivia. Maybe its a sign. *wink*
